We find that the German pen nibs are stronger in that they will not split at the end as easily as some others.
This EXTRA FINE Pen Nib from Germany makes a beautiful, very fine line. Medium soft nib, with a fine point. Smooth reaction and elastic trace.

We recommend you use our fine Pen Oils to thin the china paint or glass paints to the right consistency. You will find them in the “Oils & Mediums” album. This Pen Nibs will alll fit in our adjustable Pen Holders, found in the “Supplies” Facebook album.

They are also called Crow Quill Pen Nibs. You can see other Pen Nibs on the photo labeled “Photo 2”

Extra Fine Pen Nib: The one with the finest trace. Ideal for those who like a very delicate pen work. My favorite!

German Fine: It is a hard and flexible pen with a fine trace. Ideal for “heavy/energetic handed painters”

German Soft Fine: It is a soft pen, with a slightly thicker trace.

Fine 102: This pen has a fine flexible tip suitable for all pen work.

Fine 107: With a fine point, the Fine 107 pen nib is stiffer than Fine 102.

These pen nibs, can be used with our aluminium pen holders (platinum or gold) and our wooden pen holder.

They are NOT compatible with our GREEN lacquered pen holder.
